Approaching Students with Dysgraphia

Overview

This workshop helps parents understand dysgraphia and how it may affect their child’s handwriting, written expression, and confidence.
It introduces common signs and everyday challenges that children with dysgraphia may experience at home and at school.

Parents will learn practical ways to support writing tasks without increasing pressure or frustration.
The session will also explore simple strategies, helpful tools, and assistive technology that can make writing easier. Emphasis will be placed on encouraging strengths, building confidence, and promoting positive communication with the child.

The workshop aims to empower parents to provide effective support and work collaboratively with schools to meet their child’s needs.
