The Gifted Hub Summer Enrichment Program (Grades 3–8) - Payment

Overview

The Gifted Hub Summer Enrichment Program is a 6-week online experience designed for gifted learners, featuring carefully selected courses from Northwestern University’s Center for Talent Development (CTD), instruction from CTD teachers, and 3 live online facilitation sessions per week from qualified Gifted Hub educators. With regular guidance, student check-ins, and a connected local learning community, the program offers a personalized and supported pathway through advanced learning.

Courses Offered
Grades 3-5 | Competition Math
This course develops advanced problem-solving strategies across algebra, geometry, number theory, counting, and probability, preparing students for high-level mathematical competitions.

Grades 6-8 | Astrobiology
Students will explore stars, habitable zones, extrasolar planets, volcanoes, and the possibility of life beyond Earth, while examining extreme forms of life and questioning where life may exist in the universe.

Eligibility Required
This program is open to students who meet gifted eligibility criteria through one of the following:
• a CogAT score at or above the 90th percentile
• a score at or above the 90th percentile on NWEA MAP, STAR, or an approved equivalent assessment

Parents will be asked to provide their child’s most recent gifted assessment results. Registration will be considered pre-registration until eligibility is confirmed.
