Overview
Join us for a Book Chat session with Tasneem Dahab, who will take us on a journey into the world of African literature, exploring its key trends and themes and the ways in which it reflects the identities and experiences of African peoples. The session will also examine literature as a rich space for exploring identity, history, and memory, while introducing a selection of notable works and writers from across the continent.
Tasneem believes that African literature, despite its richness, remains largely unfamiliar to Arab readers. Through her content, she presents literature as a gateway to understanding different peoples and cultures, offering concise and engaging introductions to books and authors that encourage readers to explore African literature further.
