Torba Farmers Market is a vibrant marketplace for locally made and harvested food that connects local producers with the community. This season, Torba will be in a new location of Education City. The market will be located behind Multaqa (Student Centre). That means Torba is now closer to cooler things! The Student Centre, Oxygen Park, Qatar National Library and the Al Khater house heritage site. Hop on the tram and get off right at the market spot, great fun for kids!
It’ll be the same great Torba Market, but the vibe has just gone up a notch, because it’s that kind of year. Bigger, better, more sustainable. Monthly themes, live cooking, kids' area, bigger plant section, fun and engaging workshops, heaps more greenery around, and closer to amenities such as toilets and ATM machines to make your market experience more enjoyable.
Shoppers can relax under the shades at the custom-designed wooden tables and benches while sampling home-made and artisanal food on offer. Shop plastic free, find your new favourite products, chill with friends. It’s also a great family day out, and yes, dogs are welcome!
